Official Rules to Play – Surviving the Unknown

 

To ensure a consistent, fair, and exciting experience for all players, please follow the official steps below:

 

1. Subscribe to Our Channels

All players must subscribe to our YouTube channel and follow us on social media (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitch). This is where we release updates, clues, and important announcements.

 

2. Download the App

Download the official Surviving the Unknown app and create your account to access the game and begin your hunt.

 

3. Access Clues

Players can unlock clues in two ways:

  • Purchase clues directly through the app

  • Earn free clues by watching and engaging with our content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch

 

4. Film Your Hunt

You must record your entire hunt, including:

  • Traveling to the location

  • Searching for the artifact

  • The moment you discover it

This footage is required for verification and content use.

 

5. Verify Your Find

Once you find an artifact:

  • Flip the artifact over

  • Locate and scan the QR code on the bottom

  • Upload your video proof through the app or provided link

 

6. Get Paid

After your find is verified:

  • Confirm your Cash App account

  • All payments are sent via Cash App only

 

 Important Rules

  • You must follow all local laws and regulations

  • Do NOT trespass on private property

  • Only hunt in approved locations

  • Respect the environment and surroundings

 

 Final Note

Every hunt is a chance to win real money, create content, and be part of something bigger. Stay safe, follow the rules, and enjoy the experience.

We are launching Surviving the Unknown with an exclusive, limited-access event for our earliest supporters. Private Early Access

Limited to the first 2,500 YouTube subscribers


This is a private competition event before the public app launch

Only these selected players will participate during the May pre-launch phe Location: Florida (Launch State)


Florida will serve as the official starting point of Surviving the Unknown All clues during this event will guide players to hidden artifact locations across Florida


 Timeline

  • May 2026: Private VIP hunt begins (2,500 players only)

  • June 1, 2026: App officially launches on Google Play and iPhone

  • End of June 2026: Competition winner announced



Competition Details

  • Players will compete by filming and uploading their hunts

  • The winner will be determined by the most likes on their uploaded content


Prize:

  • $2,500 Cash Prize

  • Free App Subscription upon official launch


Expansion Tour

Following the Florida launch, Blinn Media will expand nationwide:

  • June 1: Launch in Ohio

  • June – October: Northeast Tour

  • November – February: Midwest & Southern States

Disqualification & Fair Play Policy

To ensure a fair and safe experience for all players, Blinn Media reserves the right to immediately disqualify any player for the following reasons:

  • Providing false, altered, or staged video evidence

  • Failing to properly record the hunt and artifact discovery

  • Trespassing on private property or violating local/state laws

  • Tampering with, moving, or damaging artifacts

  • Sharing or leaking exact locations or clues with other players

  • Using multiple accounts to manipulate competition results

  • Engaging in harassment, unsafe behavior, or misconduct during hunts

  • Attempting to exploit or manipulate the payment or verification system


 Disqualification Consequences

  • Immediate removal from the event

  • Forfeiture of all prizes and earnings

  • Permanent ban from future events and platform access

    Blinn Media maintains full authority to review, verify, and determine eligibility at its sole discretion.


Legal Protection & Platform Terms

1. Liability Waiver (Injury Protection)

By participating, players acknowledge that real-world exploration may involve inherent risks including, but not limited to, uneven terrain, weather conditions, wildlife, and travel. Players voluntarily assume all risks and agree that Blinn Media, its owners, affiliates, and partners shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in the game. Players agree to follow all safety guidelines and local laws at all times.
 

2. Media Release (Content Usage Rights)

By uploading any video, photo, or content, players grant Blinn Media a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, distribute, and display such content across all platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, television, social media, advertising, and promotional materials. Players waive any rights to compensation beyond awarded prizes. Blinn Media takes ownership of any media that has been published on our platforms.

 

3. Payment Terms (Dispute Prevention)

 

  • All winnings are subject to verification and approval by Blinn Media

  • Payments are issued via Cash App only unless otherwise specified

  • Processing time may take 3 business days after verification

  • Any attempt to manipulate the system will result in forfeiture of payment

  • Blinn Media reserves the right to deny or reverse payments in cases of fraud or rule violations


Anti-Fraud & Verification Requirements

1. GPS Verification Clause

All submitted content must include location data (GPS) enabled during recording. Submissions without verifiable location data may be rejected.
 

2. Time-Stamped Video Requirement

Players must submit continuous, unedited footage that includes:

  • The hunt process

  • The discovery of the artifact

  • A visible timestamp or real-time recording proof

Edited, cut, or staged videos will result in disqualification.
 

3. Identity Verification (Before Payout)

Before receiving any payment, players may be required to:

  • Provide valid identification

  • Confirm their identity matches their account

  • Verify their Cash App account

Failure to complete identity verification will result in withheld or denied payment.


Enforcement

Blinn Media reserves full authority to audit, investigate, and determine the validity of any submission. All decisions are final.
